ICC B1 Cerification Preperation Course (LIMITED TIME RECEIVE FREE IRC and TURBO TABS)

This course is based on the 2018 International Residential Code. The course can be used as a review course for current professionals or as a preparation course for the ICC B1, Residential Building Inspector certification exam. The course includes 10 learning modules, 10 review quizzes (one after each module) and a 60 question practice exam.

Greg Mahoney

Greg Mahoney has been working in building code enforcement for 30 years. He is currently serving as the Chief Building Official for the City of Davis. He is chair of CALBO's Energy Commission Advisory Committee, Chair of the California Building Standards Commission Code Advisory Committee for Green Building, Vice Chair of ICC’s G4 Guideline for Commissioning Committee, and has been a member of ICC’s Mechanical Exam Development Committee. In 2016 Greg was the recipient of CALBO’s Building Official of the Year award.

He has developed curriculum and taught Building Inspection Technology and Green Building at Cosumnes River College for 14 years. Greg is also an instructor for ICC, teaching courses on the California Residential Code, California Building Code and CALGreen. In addition to being a Certified Combination Inspector and Plans Examiner, he is a Certified Building Official, Certified Access Specialist (CASp), LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Floodplain Manager. He has also been certified as a BPI Building Analyst and Exam Proctor, Certified Green Building Professional, Green Point Rater and a Certified HERS Rater I and II.
